Feel like you’ve run out of new ideas on how to source inventory from your service drive? Here’s one you might not have heard yet.
As the day is winding down, take a look at your service appointments for tomorrow. The customers bringing in the cars you’d most like to acquire, send them a text or email with the market report showing the value of their trade-in.
(Your trade-in tool should be able to do this without creating new leads. If not, let’s talk).
Have a text or email already written, so you’re just copy/pasting that info quickly:
“Hey, we see you’re bringing in your vehicle for service tomorrow. Just so you have it, I sent you a link to a report that shows your current trade-in value, which is always helpful to see. If you’re interested in talking about trading or selling, we can chat tomorrow. See you then”.
