No Preview GIF For Videos? You’re Getting Blocked

This one small feature will do more to increase your engagement and response rates on videos than anything else: the preview GIF.

The Importance of the Preview GIF in Dealership Videos

You’ve taken the time to create and send a personalized video to your leads and customers, but the line between getting blocked and marked as spam is razor thin. Let’s take a look.

Image 1 in the video is what most people get when they receive a personalized video, and wow, does that look like spam. Image 2 is what people get when you’re able to include a preview GIF. I can see it’s a real person not a bot out steal my identity and rob me and my aging parents.

Get Better Video Engagement

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that the one that doesn’t look like spam is going to get double, triple, quadruple the response and engagement rates. If you’re sending videos to customers without the preview GIF, we can help with that.

The image compares two text message screenshots side by side with the question "What's the riskier looking click?" displayed in bold black text between them. - On the left phone screen: A plain text message contains only a URL link that reads, "Intro: https://www.snapcellvideo.com/7w2qj," with no additional context or media preview.
- On the right phone screen: A more detailed text message reads, "Hey Greg, check out the red 23 truck that you asked about! Personalized video for Greg 🚗: https://www.snapcellvideo.com/eg2le" and includes a video thumbnail featuring a man with a friendly expression and open-handed gesture, giving visual context to the link. The comparison highlights how the message with a personalized context and video preview appears more trustworthy and engaging than a bare link with no description.
