Motivate Your Team and Boost Engagement with SPIFFs

Dealerships are seeing great results when they incentivize their teams by using SPIFFS to reward video activity. And the best part? These can work in both variable and fixed ops.

Using SPIFFS in Service

  • Intake videos: Create a SPIFF around whether an intake video has been recorded. It gives you a record of what the vehicle looked like when it came into the service drive.
  • MPI walkarounds: SPIFF your techs for recording walkaround videos that clearly explain to the customer what work needs to be done.

Using SPIFFS in Sales

  • Lead response time: We know how important it is to respond quickly. Maybe you create a SPIFF for answering leads within 15 minutes or at least within the hour.
  • Sold vehicles: If the vehicle is marked sold and a video was sent, SPIFF it.
  • Thank you videos: These are a great way to stay top-of-mind. Incentivize your team to send thank you videos for both sales and service.

Try a Points-Based System

You could also implement a weekly point system where salespeople must hit a certain number of videos to qualify for points. Tie those points to their bonus plan. Whoever finishes at the top for the month gets their bonus.
