Video Best Practices

Make a Video Library for Your Team: Jenkins Kia of Gainesville

Welcome to another edition of AutoViz! This month we had the chance to sit down with Colin Baer from Jenkins Kia of Gainesville to explore how they use video technology to enhance their sales process. Colin Baer has been in the automotive industry for about a year now and has already embraced every opportunity to learn and adapt.

Power of Video in Sales

One of the innovations that Colin and his team at Jenkins Kia of Gainesville have implemented is using videos for every vehicle in their inventory. These videos even show every trim and color option.

“Not only am I able to do a rapid response with these videos, it also allows my fellow colleagues here to use the videos whenever needed if they have a customer that’s just requesting whatever vehicle,” says Colin.

Enhancing Customer Experience with Videos

Using video for both new and used vehicles is a great conversation starter, especially for customers who are not local. It allows potential buyers to get a detailed look at the vehicles without stepping foot in the dealership. This virtual walkaround helps in setting accurate expectations and resolving potential issues before they arise.

“We are able to do a quick walk around, show them the vehicles there, and point out any features and functions that they may have been looking for. And maybe it’s not there. That allows us to get a hand on the problem and quickly resolve it by finding a nice switch unit that would work best for them.”

Building Trust and Repeat Business

Implementing these videos has not only improved efficiency but also fostered trust with customers. By offering transparency and upfront information through video introductions, customers are more likely to return and specifically request Colin for future purchases.

“I have noticed that it does build up a kind of trust with the customer as well as it brings them around to wanting you as a repeat salesperson.”

Thanks to Colin and the entire Jenkins Kia of Gainesville team!
