Want to source more used cars? A stand-alone buying center website is a great tool to have on your marketing belt, and here are three examples that we like, with the occasional suggestion thrown in.
Starting with BachmanBuys.com, they’ve got the call-to-action to “get my offer” above the fold just barely.
We’d prefer to see that higher with the video explainer lower down and the large “site menu” button out of the way entirely. But if the GA4 data says it’s working, go with the data.
We love the social proof and customer quotes. Saying that “We’ll come to you” is also a great way to counteract one of Carvana’s big messages.
We’d like to see more explanation of the process and what to expect written out, but overall this is pretty good.
HaleyExpress.com has nice imagery and buttons up top, but it’s a little hard to read. We’d recommend that it be a little cleaner, but they do a great job of slapping that CTA to get started right up top and then including an explanation of how it works.
We absolutely love the pictures of customer photos, which is social proof at its finest.
StepOneBuysCars.com looks really, really good on mobile.
Clean and simple and easy to read and use. They spell out clearly how the process works, that they’ll buy your car even if they don’t buy yours, you get paid fast, it’s backed with real market data, and a reminder of what to bring.
The mention of tax savings and an FAQ are also great messages to share.
If you’ve got a buying center site you’d like us to review, send it our way.
