3 Buying Center Landing Pages We Like – Round 1

Sourcing inventory directly from your market, as opposed to the auction or waiting on a trade-in, remains a hot topic. You need great people, then a great process, and great tools to make it happen.

A great buying center website landing page also really helps.

Over the next few weeks we’ll profile a bunch of buying center mobile landing pages that we like, and offer a suggestion or two.

Examples of Great Dealership Buying Center Landing Pages

Let’s kick off round 1 with MorganBuysCars.com, BakerBuysCars.com, and ValueMyCarCalgary.ca, starting first with Morgan.

MorganBuysCars.com has a clean and simple design. It’s not cluttered, and it looks great on mobile, and the URL says exactly what the site is built for, buying your car!

It’s also great to see the call-to-action button above the fold, so people can hop right in and get started.

The three step explainer of the process is key to letting people know what to expect, as well as reinforcing that you don’t have to buy a car in order to sell yours to them.

Reminding people what to bring is a critical piece to make sure the transaction goes smoothly, and everybody’s all about FAQs these days because apparently those help with appearing in AI search results, so well done there and overall.

BakerBuysCars.com does many of these same things well, including a straightforward URL, keeping the CTA above the fold, the 3 step explainer, and that no car purchase is required.

It’d be nice to see an FAQ on here also.

Finally, ValueMyCarCalgary.ca seems to nudge people more into valuing a car versus buying, so they’re taking a softer approach.

The site looks okay on mobile, the CTA is above the fold, and they’ve got both explainer and FAQ sections.

I’d like to see them focus more on buying cars and steer away from explaining how we/they source the data. We love that stuff, but most people don’t care.
