Hang a custom hang tag from every vehicle the dealership services. This is a cheap and effective way to source extra inventory on vehicles whose history you already know. The template used to create the image below can be downloaded at the bottom of this article. This example below outlines everything you need:
• Your logo
• The QR code
• The CTA
Real World Example: Hubler Ford Franklin
The QR code takes you to the first question of the ‘Sell to Us’ questionnaire that consists of only 7 questions. These questions ask the YMMT as well as the major attributes like:
• Has it been in an accident? (Yes/No)
• What is the mileage? (Type in mileage)
• Does it have warning lights? (Multi-choice option)
By keeping the form short, you’ll net more leads. The vehicle will have to come in for an inspection regardless if you ask 7 questions or 35, but you’ll get more leads with a 7 question starter.
