Toyota’s SmartPath Partners with TradePending to Deliver Trade-In Valuations

Chapel Hill, NC – TradePending, a leading provider of real-time automotive valuation data, is proud to announce a new offering to Toyota SmartPath and Lexus Monogram dealers. This new functionality enables customers to include trade-in valuations in the Toyota SmartPath and Lexus Monogram payment estimators on participating Toyota and Lexus dealer websites via the TradePending API.  This functionality is available as an option for Toyota SmartPath and Lexus Monogram dealers where permitted.

One of the most important steps in purchasing a new or used car involves trading in an existing vehicle. When shopping for a vehicle online, consumers need accurate and transparent information about their car in order to facilitate their purchase.

By integrating TradePending valuations into SmartPath and Monogram, consumers on a participating dealer’s website would get consistent values for their trade-in, regardless of where they start the valuation process.

The integration of TradePending’s API enables the ability to leverage comprehensive and up-to-date market data to assess trade-in values accurately. TradePending’s valuation methodology determines a vehicle’s worth by measuring the local retail “ask” prices of comparable vehicles, and adjusting those values daily.
