Tell us who you are, and how you got started in automotive.
I’m the Sales and Digital Retail Director for the Rohrman Automotive Group.
I actually started in the business about 26 years ago washing cars while I was home on break. After about six to eight months, I was asked to help at an offsite sales event when the team got busy. I sold two cars that day, and the manager told me to come back Monday in a tie, and I never left the industry. Over time, I grew into the role I’m in today.
What do you like most about automotive?
What I love most is that the business resets every day, and every 30 days. You’re not chasing quarterly or annual goals. Each day is a new opportunity to improve.
I also appreciate the impact it can have on people’s lives. This industry creates opportunities. You can take someone without a traditional educational path and show them how to build wealth, support their family, and grow professionally. That’s incredibly rewarding.
What were you looking for in a vendor like TradePending?
We were looking for a partner who could support our customer data strategy and think alongside us. TradePending has done that.
Initially, I wasn’t fully aware of the full product suite, but as we’ve worked together, their tools and strategies have continued to evolve and add value.
For consumers, the tools provide customized payments or trade evaluations and require validated contact information. For us, that means we receive high-quality, verified leads. They confirm accurate phone numbers and email addresses before the lead reaches our team, which eliminates fake or bot submissions and protects our staff’s time.

How has TradePending been a benefit for Rohrman Auto Group?
We represent multiple brands, so compliance is critical. Recently, TradePending was extremely helpful in ensuring our pages met TCPA guidelines and required legal verbiage.
When adjustments were requested by our compliance attorneys, TradePending turned updates around within days. That responsiveness helped us remain compliant without disrupting operations.

We work with many vendors, and the most important quality we look for is partnership.

What would you do if TradePending suddenly disappeared?
We would immediately have to replace every CTA and lead gate on our website, because they power all of our primary conversion points.
Without those tools, our website lead flow would be significantly impacted. Each of those CTAs delivers measurable value, so replacing that ecosystem would be a major undertaking.
If TradePending were a car, what car would it be?
I’d say a Jeep.
It’s versatile, dependable, and built for momentum. I picture it as a Jeep running along the coast near Charleston, where TradePending is based. Open air, adaptable, always moving forward. That’s how I see them as a company.
