Congratulations to Singing River Toyota, our October Partner of the Month! We caught up with Robert Gagliardi, the Executive Manager. Robert is committed to always growing his dealership, becoming better, and faster by leveraging technology and becoming ninjas at using it.
What makes you continue to work with TradePending and adopt so many of our products?
What matters most to me is relationships. I stick with companies that share my interest in success, and I’ve found that with TradePending. TradePending genuinely cares about its customers and is more invested in our success than any other company we’ve worked with.Your team is incredible, and I appreciate the training opportunities as well.
How have you and your team approached incorporating these tools into your processes and workflows?
A consistent training cadence and dedication from our team. We have weekly calls with TradePending and these have been incredibly helpful. We use Video for Sales. I actually require my sales team to send a minimum of 10 videos a day.
Do you adapt our products in any way to meet the needs of your market?
Well, of course, we do! You have to. Every market is different. We are in the middle of Northwest Alabama, and most people live far from the dealership. We have to utilize our tools to give somebody a compelling reason to choose you. So, we use Video for Sales. It is really easy to use. Plus, most customers are apprehensive about the car-buying process. But, when you get a 30-second video of everything about the car, from a real person, you can see this person isn’t just a robot. I tell my team to have some fun with the process and just be yourself. Plus, it builds trust with customers, by showing you really do have the inventory and this isn’t bait and switch.
What’s next? Future goals?
I’m trying to get more sales efficient and make some pretty big leaps. I’m the king of never being satisfied; there’s always something bigger, better, and faster. My goal is to continue pumping out our units and to attack our competitors a little bit. I want to leverage the technology that’s out there and become ninjas at using it. The better we use it, the more it gives customers the sense that you are a real person. I think that we are really just trying to dial in and get better every day.
