We sat down with Marketing Director Jenna Joseph to hear their story.
Tell us a little about Joseph Buick GMC and what makes your dealership stand out.
Jenna Joseph: Joseph Automotive is a true family business—my father and three uncles own the dealerships, and I help run marketing and digital for Joseph Chevrolet and Joseph Buick GMC. We’re proud to be Cincinnati’s #1 family-owned dealership, with 15 stores from here to Northern Kentucky and farther north. One thing that really sets us apart is how much we value customer loyalty. If you need a car, we have a store where we can help you, and we treat you right.
How did you personally get started in the automotive business?
Jenna: I grew up around the business, so I’ve always been very familiar with the automotive industry. However, I didn’t jump right in. I spent six years in Colorado working at an ad agency and learning more about the marketing world. After that time, I knew I wanted to work on the brand side for a company I truly cared about. I moved back to Cincinnati and jumped into the Marketing Director role at Joseph Buick GMC.
What are some things your dealership is doing really well right now?
Jenna: We’ve been pushing our brand name out there so customers know we can meet their needs no matter what store they visit. We work closely with managers to price competitively, and we focus on building long-term loyalty by treating customers the way we’d want to be treated.
How do you approach creating a great experience for customers, both online and in-store?
Jenna: Our digital showroom has to be clean and easy to navigate because customers should be able to get the picture, get the details, and get in the door. We make sure the entire journey is smooth from start to purchase. We also have a defined process for sending personalized videos, texting, emailing, and calling customers to make sure we’re getting the information they need in the manner they most want.
How has TradePending helped your team so far?
Jenna: We love how TradePending fits right into our Dealer Inspire websites. The payment tool works great. Customers want to know what they’ll spend, and this helps them get a quick, accurate picture. The majority of shoppers want quick answers, but we also have digital retailing tools, so we’re able to give them both options.
How do you measure success when it comes to using TradePending?
Jenna: Lead count is the big one and TradePending works really well for this. We also work with Clarivoy to track attribution. Overall, TradePending improves the user experience, which naturally creates more leads.
How would you describe your experience working with the TradePending team?
Jenna: Our Customer Success Manager Kayla Milstead is awesome! She’s helped us with both sales and service, pulling stats and testing different CTAs to keep us improving.
What excites you most about the future for your dealership?
Jenna: Continued growth. We want to keep things streamlined, easy, and clean on our site so we can deliver an even better experience and keep growing our footprint in Cincinnati.
