The Wobbly Awards recognizes TradePending customers that excelled in inventory sourcing, website conversion, lead generation, and merchandising during the previous year. We were inundated with nominations both from our customers and our team.
Choosing the winners was difficult, and customers that supplied us with supporting documentation really shined. The 2023 winners are below, and you can view examples of their best practices in this presentation.
Inventory Sourcing Grand Champion
This award recognizes the highest achievements in inventory sourcing, and it goes to Kraft Nissan in Tallahassee, FL. Mason McFalls and the entire team absolutely delivered across email marketing, traditional & digital campaigns, and well-designed processes, all while making their total marketing spend more efficient.
Payments Grand Champion – Automotive
Mtn View Auto Group of Chattanooga, TN brings home this trophy. Don Erwin has pushed the envelope with our products beyond just conversions on the website. He incorporates Payments deeply into marketing and CRM email campaigns.
Payments Grand Champion – Powersports & RV
Renegade Harley-Davidson resides in Springfield, MO, and are putting up numbers that not even the bigger markets can see. In just over 4 months they’ve brought in over 1,000 leads, driven in part by their 21% form completion rate.
Service Lane Sourcing Grand Champion
DeNooyer Chevrolet used a mobile kiosk in conjunction with a new website to turn curb purchases into trade-ins. They also created hang tags with QR codes that directed service customers to value their car just after it had been serviced.
Creating Leads from Email Marketing Grand Champion
David Belliveau at Infiniti of Nashua in New Hampshire uses multiple monthly email campaigns to generate an average of 200 leads/month. Even more impressive, they purchase 15-20 vehicles per month generating $2,500-$3,000 per vehicle.
Creating Leads from Social Media Grand Champion
Meyer Motors in Sheboygan, WI does a stellar job of promoting vehichle acquisition and their own unique voice in their social media campaigns. Winner!
Most Engaged Person of All-Time
This was probably the most difficult award to award, given how engaged so many of our customers are. However the glowing reviews from TradePending Customer Success Manager Sara Wright took this finalist over the top. Here’s what Sara had to say about working with Jim Tennison at Bayside Toyota.

Rookie of the Year
Over the course of 2022, Sunnyside Chevrolet slowly implemented all of TradePending’s products. They went “next level” and implemented many of the best practices around those products, all under the expert guidance of their employees Wendy Capri and Ryan Davilla. These first-year customers truly excelled at being excellent.
TradePending Top Performers
This cohort demonstrated excellence in sourcing inventory not only through usage of TradePending products, but also across all marketing channels and processes.

Bob Ruth Ford – Consistently acquired 200+ locally acquired units throughout the year through various campaigns, processes, and smart execution.
Colonial Auto Group – Ultra data driven, have analyzed which CTA’s work best for their market, while incorporating Payments into their word tracks.
Eagle Chevrolet Buick – Posting killer lead numbers for a small town.
Fields Lexus – Attending to TradePending leads in such a way that their certified appraiser can now visit peoples’ cars virtually.
Greenway KIA West – Skilled at turning TradePending leads into new/used car sales.
Hebert’s Town & Country – A customer for 5 years and generated over 5,000 leads since, and a power user of Badges.
Hendrick Toyota North Charleston – Last year’s Grand Champion winner, they continue to excel at inventory sourcing through marketing, service lanes, and other customer touch points.
John Cooper Ford of Yukon OK – Strong marketing efforts this year, including numerous TV spots such as this one.
Marthaler Chevrolet Glenwood – Absolutely fantastic conversion rates on leads to cars sold.
McKinnon Toyota / McKinnon Nissan – Their team says it best! “With everything going on this year we’ve had to really dig into our customer base and find ways to promote ourselves and generate more leads. We have started doing a monthly email campaign with local happenings, sales specials, service specials and a link to appraise your vehicle. These campaigns have been a major success for us.”
Serra Chevrolet – Katie Takemoto at Serra Chevrolet in Southfield, MI delivered excellent results this year. She implemented service drive marketing with QR codes, and one of their email campaigns outperformed a $7,000 snail mail campaign!
Team Kia El Cajon – Stunning website conversion rates
Temecula Valley Toyota – Our Senior Account Executive Michael Stearns had nothing but amazing things to say about this dealership and Ryan Brown.
Tom Peacock Nissan – Improved the quantity and quality of their leads in 2022
Toyota of Easley – Nominated by TradePending Senior Account Executive Jordan Coker, he writes, “ They rank 1st among other rookies in SC by a long shot with conversion rates consistently over 1% for Mobile.”
White Allen Chevy– Great numbers for 2022 and JD is great to work with
