Customer Spotlight: Hubler Ford

We spoke with Devon Griffith, General Manager at Hubler Ford, to hear their story.

Tell us a little about Hubler Ford and what makes your dealership stand out.

Devon: Hubler Ford is part of the Hubler Auto Group, and we’re proud to be a trusted Ford dealership serving Shelbyville and the surrounding communities. What makes us stand out is our commitment to making the car-buying experience simple, honest, and centered around the customer. 

How has TradePending impacted your dealership’s performance?

Devon: TradePending has been crushing it. Since we started using the tools in May, we’ve generated about $176,000 in gross profit over just three months. The Payments product produced 207 leads, 53 appointments, and 23 sales, which added up to over $105,000 in gross profit. The Trade tool brought in another 158 leads, 40 appointments, and 14 sales, totaling more than $71,000 in gross profit. We’re converting at 10% from lead to sold right now, and I think we can get that number even higher.

How has your team adjusted to the increased lead volume?

Devon: We actually hired a dedicated BDC agent to handle the influx of leads. The sales team couldn’t keep up with the surge in leads, and bringing on that additional resource has paid off. Our BDC agent is performing really well and making sure every opportunity gets the attention it deserves.

You mentioned moving away from other digital retailing tools. Can you share more?

Devon: We were using a digital retailing tool also, but over the last three months, it only generated a single sale. The return-on-investment just wasn’t there, especially when compared to what we’re seeing now with TradePending. 

Looking ahead, what excites you most about the future at Hubler Ford?

Devon: I’m forecasting between 81–105 units this month, and with the momentum we’ve built, I feel really confident about our trajectory. We’ll keep focusing on processes that convert, leveraging the right tools, and making sure our team is set up for success.
