The 2024 Wobbly Awards Winners

The Wobbly Awards return for their fourth installment as we recognize the achievements of our customers over the past year. 

Choosing the winners was difficult, and customers who supplied us with supporting documentation really shined.

The 2024 winners are below, and you can view examples of their best practices in this presentation.

Inventory Sourcing Grand Champion

This award recognizes the highest achievements in inventory sourcing, and it goes to Matt Bowers of Baton Rouge, LA. The team delivers being top 3 in the region, #1 in SE Louisiana, and 200+ cars sourced monthly.  

Automotive Payments Grand Champion

This award goes to a customer who has excelled at helping automotive customers understand their buying power while converting an amazing amount of website traffic into leads. Performance Toyota of Cincinnati, OH absolutely crushes it with 56 cars in the last 90. 

Powersports Payments Grand Champion

RideNow Powersports is a powerhouse in lead generation and customer engagement. The entire RideNow team is deeply committed to driving success through innovation in finance and delivering exceptional customer service. 

RV Payments Grand Champion

We have added RV to this category for 2024 and BlueCompass RV could not be more deserving. Their pick your payment CTA combined with our Payment tool helps customers get a realistic idea of what they can pay with no pain. They are leading the way within the RV space.

Sales Video Team of The Year

Congrats to Mac Haik Chevrolet! Josh Potts, Kelly Robinson, Vince Swanson, and team. They have committed to incorporating Video into their sales process and are delivering strong results. Every lead that comes through their dealership gets a video, with 2000 videos sent last month!

Online Service Experience Champion

This award goes to the Team over at Rancho Santa Margarita Honda. By utilizing all Service Offers has to offer, they have received 300 engagements monthly. Their consistent messaging across all digital platforms for their service department has resulted in 2500 fixed ops visits a month. 

Sales Enablement Team of the Year

Congrats to Hyundai of Orange Park! They are crushing it with AutoBio. See for yourself with these numbers: 21.5% closing last month in new and used and a 16% closing average. Big shout out to the BDC team, including Meghan Kelly, Lamar Treadwell, and Abigale Guy. Huge round of applause!

Rookie of the Year

Happy to announce that Adam Swithin and the Team at Team One CDJR of Gadsden brought home the Rookie of the Year trophy for 2024. Their engagement and dedication to building processes and holding us and his team accountable have led to making a successful team. 

Most Engaged Person of All-Time Champion

Awarded to a single person, this individual worked closely with the TradePending team to achieve fantastic results for their business, while pushing us to continue improving. Jim Taylor, GM at Capital Toyota of Chattanooga, does an amazing job staying on top of his stores, keeping his data clean, and holding TradePending to a high standard. That’s what we are here for! Congrats Jim! 

The Total Package Grand Champion

This award goes to a TradePending customer who is utilizing our full suite of products with phenomenal results. Congrats to Dick Smith Auto Group as this year’s winner. 

Trailblazer of The Year

A new category this year, we wanted to show appreciation for those of you willing to test out new products. Thank you to Natchez Ford Auto Group South and congrats for being Trailblazer of the Year. Your help with beta testing and offering invaluable feedback has made us even better at what we do. Shout out to GM, Randy Johnson, for the continued support!

Email Marketing Grand Champion

Jim Hudson Ford killed it this year in email marketing. Internet Manager, Chris Dawkins, heads up these efforts with a steller follow up process incorporating video into his email outreach. His success comes from sending videos to every customer not just with their initial purchase but to retain them with birthdays, anniversaries, and general “how are you?” videos. 

Social Media Grand Champion

Brian Ortega at Valley Hi Toyota brings home the gold for Social Media Grand Champion. With 20k Facebook likes, 10k Instagram followers, 3k YouTube subscribers, and 1.4 million TikTok likes, he is leading the charge in his industry. You won’t want to miss his commercials here. Way to go Brian! Well deserved! 

Service Lane Sourcing Grand Champion

Congrats to GSM, Yosef Cohen, and the team over at Volvo Cars Princeton. As this year’s winner of Service Lane Sourcing Grand Champion, it is well deserved. They pull in a 15% closure rate plus a high review rate while they wait to drive home in their new ride. 

Service Video Team of the Year

Midland Honda of Ontario, Canada has taken our new video offering for service to new heights. Using video to increase transparent, trustworthy messages to communicate with their customers and talk about repair needs. They are killing it with a 76% watch rate.

TradePending Top Performers

This cohort demonstrated excellence in sourcing inventory not only through the usage of TradePending products but also across all marketing channels and processes.
