Job Summary:

We are looking for a Product Owner to play a pivotal role in our Product department. You will guide product development from concept to launch working in an Agile environment. Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to align product vision with customer needs and company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Backlog Management: Develop, groom and maintain the team backlog with clear documentation and articulation of product features and user stories. Prioritize backlog items based on customer value, market insights and strategic objectives.
  • Agile Framework Adherence: Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives. Collaborate with Scrum Masters, development teams and stakeholders to ensure a cohesive product strategy.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison between the development team and stakeholders. Communicate product vision, goals and progress to internal teams and external clients. Incorporate stakeholder feedback into product development.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and mentor team members on adoption and adherence of Agile framework. Promote an environment of Agile best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Market and Customer Insight: Analyze market trends, customer feedback and competitive landscape to inform product decisions. Ensure our solutions meet industry standards and customer expectations.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to ensure product features meet quality standards and provide customer value.
  • User Acceptance: Own the planning and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as part of release management.
  • Release Notes: Own the documentation and distribution of internal product release notes and ensure that they are accurate and complete.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to product roadmaps, aligning with the company’s long-term goals and market opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a product owner role.
  • Strong understanding and experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability in managing product backlogs and task prioritization.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Automotive industry experience is not required but is considered a plus.
